Indy Cultural Tidbits

Thursday June 16th: Concerts on The Canal from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Located at the Indiana Historical Society across from Military Park and the law school. On Friday for lunch they have a another band too.

Friday June 17 to Sunday Jun 19: Indy Jazzfest. I hope school isn't having finals at the same time as Jazzfest. That was LOUD!

Sunday June 19th: United States Grand Prix at the Indianpolis Motor Speedway. See all them foreigners race and make right turns. Starting Thursday June 16th is Pit Walkabout from 8am to noon. You need a race day ticket to do this though. Practice on Friday for $10 and qualifying on Saturday for $20. A combo ticket for both is $25.

After all the stuff they had last week, this week is a bit of a let down. On the other hand Jazzfest and the Grand Prix are two VERY LARGE events. Balances out I guess.
