Save the Pawn Shop Pub!

A wonderful landmark in Broad Ripple at the corner of College Ave. and Kessler Blvd. is The Pawn Shop Pub. Feels like a nice British neighborhood pub. They have good meals, good drinks, and is a nice place to hang with your friends or take a date too. It's in Broad Ripple, but a few blocks off the bar strip so you don't deal with drunken frat boys elsewhere. It's a nice more mature place to hang out.

It is closing down at the end of May :-( It appears the landlord doesn't wish to renew the lease after 27 years. I'll be going there a few more times to celebrate the quaintness of the place before it goes. I hope to see many of you there before a cherished landmark goes. I'll buy the first round.
