Application Of Todays Lesson

As seen today right at school.

If a guy just walks into the intersection ignoring on-coming traffic is that assumption of risk?
Only if the car that hits him is construed as a strict liability event.

Are car-pedistrian accidents negligence and if so what type? I'm saying the pedestrian, if hit, would have some contributory negligence. You just don't walk into on-coming traffic!

The four of us were amazed he wasn't hit.
