It LIVES! The FrankenRanger Monster LIVES!

It was a dark and stormy night. At least last night was. Those were nice 100 year old trees. The differental, rear axle, and brake cables from a donor Ranger arrived last Friday. You think they could have coated it in primer or something to make it look better.

The transplant operation started sometime after 9 this morning. Supposedly they had to use the paddles three times to resecitate the Mighty Green Ranger, but the operation appears to be a success. Now that is is rebuilt, is it faster, stronger, and more powerful? No f***ing way, but it is a lot quieter now at speed. I forgot how quiet it is acutally supposed to drive. The only thing louder than the dying diff at speed was those damned cicadas! At least those things should die off soon.

The really good news, not as expensive as initially quoted. At least some things can be pleasant when undergoing major repairs.
