Indy Cultural Tidbit - Broad Ripple Art Fair

Broad Ripple is both a quant village in the north-central part of Indianapolis, and the king of all bar-crawls in the metro area. Broad Ripple is the eclectic, counter-cultural, artistic heart of the city. The 34th Annual Broad Ripple Art Fair is this Saturday and Sunday. $10 gets you in and all the money goes to the Indianapolis Arts Center, a not-for-profit that promotes the arts.

A shuttle bus from Broad Ripple H.S. and the Glendale Mall will get you to the fair at the Indianapolis Arts Center at 820 E. 67th St. Given the lack of parking in the village that is an excellent idea.

Bring an umbrella as rain has killed the fair the past few years and the weather report isn't looking too good for this weekend. I've never been to an art fair, does anyone want to go?
