Happy Earth Day

Please remember to put your empty pop cans in the recycling bins. Many schools and grocery stores have huge green recycling bins next to them. Once you know which ones handle newspapers and which ones handle magazines you can consider it an easy Saturday chore to recycle. Plastics, glass, and cardboard are also recyclable. Many battery stores and big box shops like Wal-Mart and Meijers offer places to drop off you old batteries.

How well does it work? Once I started recycling I have a hard time coming up with a full 13lbs bag of trash a week.
