Two interesting items to report today.

The Ford Mustang is selling like tasty hotcakes. Sales for the newly redesigned '05 model are up 47% from last year. How embaressing for some people must it be when one car outsells entire brands? Looking at Scion, Saturn, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru. Wow. Current sales are so strong, the resale value of older Mustangs has risen.

If you're looking for more practical transportation, here are spy shots of the upcoming, redesigned Honda Civic. To be honest it looks a lot like the current Civic especially from the rear 3/4 view. I realize the single frontal shot is heavily disguised, but the Civic resembles a Saturn to me. Potential base motor of 140 hp could make it an interesting ride. Honda will sell over a quarter-milliion in the U.S. without a problem, but doesn't seem as dynamic as the Mazda 3. Future test drives will be interesting.
