Dubya As A Public Speaker.

The text of the President's speech updating the situation in Iraq was okay. The text had some good lines. I simply wish the President was a more dynamic speaker. For a speech like this you need a Winston Churchill persona. Sometimes the delivery of the message is as important as the message itself.

Regardless of your opinions on how the Second Persian Gulf War was started, the fact of the matter is we're there now. Let's do the best job we as a nation can do to assist the Iraqi people to be self-governing. That is a very worthy goal for our nation.
