The Good and The Bad

I love rainy mornings. The clouds keep the light out of my east facing bedroom windows. In the winter it is impossible to get me awake before 7:30 because it was so dark. Now it is impossible to sleep past 6am because of the sunlight streaming in. Those rain clouds though keep it just dark enough.
The rain also dampens the outside noise. Dark, peaceful, and quiet. Perfect for sleeping. Imperfect for letting me sleep past 10am. Yikes! Hopefully I'll get something useful done today. I still have 2 memos to write :(
