Angel: Shells

Poor Fred has been consumed by a demon queen coming back to life after millennia. Kudos for Amy Acker playing a completely different role than the meek, funny, and geeky Fred.
Wesley was perfect as the man wanting revenge for the death of his lover. Be strong, be passionate, be full of grief, kill everyone that had anything with her death. Wesley as a dark avenger letting loose with his dark and gray sides is the most in-depth character currently on television IMHO. Using the knife on Gunn after he learned of Gunn's involvement was that nice personal touch of revenge. "Stab Gunn wasn't on the agenda this morning" That was a great line! The best ones were with Harmony and Wes in the lab.

Harm "The girl of your dreams loved you. That's more than most people get."
Wes "It's not enough"

I don't know which part was more true. Three lines of dialogue summed up so much pain, anger, and grief. Sometimes less is more. I still can't believe Angel is getting cancelled. Now we have to wait until 4/14 to see the next new episode..ARGH!! I need my fix!
